With firsthand experience navigating water intrusion and hidden mold growth in multiple homes, she recognized Pearl’s ability to help families in our community.
Janet’s mission is to help others avoid the nightmare she experienced – at home and in her health.
Aside from running the day-to-day operations, she is also a Certified K9 Handler through the Florida Canine Academy.

Mold Detection Dog
Pearl is a sweet and energetic Australian Shepherd. She joined the Blade family in 2023 as a fearless puppy. She is always ready to learn new things and work for treats. These traits made her the perfect dog for mold detection. She absolutely loves having a job!
Pearl was trained by Master Canine Trainer Bill Whitstine at the Florida Canine Academy. Her training consisted of 1,000 hours. She is trained to detect 16 species of toxic mold. With her skills, she can locate hidden mold in locations often missed by conventional mold inspection methods.
In her spare time, Pearl enjoys playing fetch, getting belly rubs, and playing with her Aussie sister, Penny.
